The Obsession Behind Razer's Global Following

"It's easy to say [you want to create great products], but the proof is in the pudding when you dedicate your life to it."

— Min-Liang Tan, Co-Founder & CEO, Razer

Before Razer became one of the world's most recognized gaming brands, Min-Liang Tan built the company around a simple belief: gamers deserve products made by people who genuinely understand them. Rather than chasing every consumer market, Razer focused relentlessly on serving a specific community.

That commitment helped the company build a loyal global following. By staying hyper-focused on its core audience, Razer turned a niche gaming startup into a brand used by millions of gamers worldwide.

The Best Startup Asset Isn't on Your Balance Sheet; It's Your Network 💡

Startups rarely fail because they run out of ideas. More often, they miss out on the introductions, mentors, and relationships that open the right doors at the right time. In a crowded fundraising market, your network can become your biggest competitive advantage.

Long before Canva was a global success, founder Melanie Perkins faced rejection after rejection from investors who didn't see the vision. What helped move the company forward wasn't just capital, but the relationships, guidance, and believers she built along the way.

The lesson for founders is clear: build your network before you need it, because one connection can change everything.

Where to Invest $100,000 Right Now, According to Experts

Investors face a dilemma. When the S&P 500 finished its worst quarter since 2022 last month, diversifiers like bonds and bitcoin fell too.

Even with the turnaround in mid-April, analysts at Goldman Sachs and Vanguard have projected low-single-digit annualized returns from 2024-2034.

Bloomberg asked where experts would personally invest $100,000 for their March monthly edition.

One answer that surfaced for a second time? Art.

It's what billionaires like Bezos and the Rockefellers have privately used to diversify for decades.

Why?

  1. Appreciation. The ArtPrice100 Index outpaced the S&P 500 overall from 2000 to 2025

  2. Low-correlation. The postwar contemporary segment has moved independently of traditional investments like stocks since ‘95.*

  3. Resilience. A scarce, physical, and global asset class with decades of demonstrated demand.

Thanks to the world's premier art investing platform, now anyone can invest in works featuring legends like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso, without needing millions.
