Michelle Yeoh will receive the 2,836th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the Motion Pictures category. The ceremony will take place on February 18 at 11:30 am PT at 6927 Hollywood Boulevard, with Jon M. Chu, Ang Lee, and Jenelle Riley joining the celebration.

The honor comes after Yeoh made history in 2023 as the first Asian performer to win the Academy Award for Best Actress for Everything Everywhere All at Once. She has built a long career across Asia, Europe, and the US, starring in films such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Crazy Rich Asians, and several major Hollywood franchises.

Jason Myers made history at Super Bowl 60, helping the Seattle Seahawks secure a 29–13 win over the New England Patriots. He converted all five of his field goals, setting a new NFL record for the most field goals made in a single Super Bowl game.

In 1980, Vietnamese fighter pilot Pham Tuan became the first person from Asia to travel into space. His achievement marked a historic moment not only for Vietnam but for the entire continent.

Raised in the rural province of Thai Binh, he began his journey far from laboratories and launchpads. Through discipline and years of service in the Vietnamese Air Force, he earned a rare chance to join an international space mission.

On July 23, 1980, he launched aboard a Soyuz spacecraft and spent seven days on the Salyut 6 space station conducting research. Decades later, his story continues to inspire young people across Asia to dream beyond their circumstances.
