Squid Game 2: Gi-hun's Dark Return and New Intentions 🦑
Bet we all remember the iconic “Squid Game” that had us all quivering in fear, tears, and joy with its characters (and also, cluelessly singing a Korean nursery rhyme in hopes of putting a “red light” on the pandemic).
In season 1, Gi-hun, the main character, and the sole survivor, arrived at the finish line, all alone—a tunnel vision where he could lead a 45-billion-won life from his prize, yet rife with severe survivor guilt.
As the first season closes with a fiery red-headed Gi-hun, Gi-hun will channel that fury through his return to the game, but this time, with different intentions. "You will get to see a much heavier, darker side of Gi-hun," Hwang Dong-hyuk, the series’ director said. The second air is set to be aired on Netflix by December this year, along with an upcoming renewal of a third season.

Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers became the first MLB player to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases in the same season (Image Source: NBC News)
MLB Milestone: Shohei Ohtani Joins the Elite 50-50 Club 🧢
Los Angeles Dodgers superstar, Shohei Ohtani, has driven the baseball world crazy by becoming the first and only player in the history of Major League Baseball to achieve a 50-home run and 50-stolen base season.
He is no stranger to record-breaking achievements! Ohtani had a total of 40 homers and 40 stolen bases, becoming the fastest to do so. This spirit was then intensified by this year's match. After going 5-for-6 at the plate, driving 10 runs, and scoring four times during a record-breaking 20-4 win, he hit his 50th home run.
The closest to his feat is Ronald Acuña Jr., who stole 73 bases but hit only 41 home runs last year.

Olivia Rodrigo Lowers All Ticket Prices for Her Very First Show in the Philippines 🎤
It’s an era of Filipino Pride Parties, and this time it was hosted by our Filipino American darling, Olivia Rodrigo as she took her 3-year-old “driver's license” and will come to the Philippines for the very first concert in her homeland.
Some may be afraid the ticket would be too expensive, but that’s not the case at all. “Good 4 u”, she has made all the tickets fair and accessible for all her fans, only at $27 (or ₱1500) including taxes and fees, and even named it the “Silver Star Show.”
Moreover, all net ticket proceeds will go to her “Fund 4 Good” initiative, which supports women's equality, and reproductive rights and raises girls’ education. Well, we all are “obsessed!”
Taking place in the world’s largest indoor arena, the Philippine Arena, the show promises to be a gut-wrenching, chaotic, and dazzling 27-dollar therapy session.
This tour marks her first time in the Philippines, and it is sure to inspire countless young Filipino girls to be confident in themselves and follow their dreams.
