Marlin Chan is a remarkable individual whose journey embodies determination and triumph in the face of adversity. His Cambodian immigrant parents faced the harsh realities of the 1970’s Cambodian Genocide which separated them for 18 years. Fate intervened and they found their way back to each other in a miraculous encounter, leading to the birth of their son, Marlin.

Now, Marlin is on a mission to share his family’s legacy to the world. Inspired by his grandmother's beef crisps, Marlin started a business venture called "Yay’s". These beef crisps, meticulously crafted from thinly sliced marinated beef, capture a symphony of flavors: umami, sweetness, and spiciness.
