This young boy is Kevin Chou, who, fast forward to today, is now a well-reputed titan in the gaming and web3 industry.

Kevin is one of the foremost Asian American founders, having founded a number of gaming and web3 companies (Rally, Forte, Blocto, Gen.G, and Kabam) and currently spends his time working on Superlayer, a crypto venture studio he co-founded two years ago. This is the story of Kevin Chou, a journey that showcases how your differences can be your greatest strength.

Taiwan is facing a significant challenge following a powerful earthquake, the strongest in 25 years.

The earthquake struck on Wednesday morning and has caused widespread devastation, particularly in Hualien, situated along the island's eastern coastline, where numerous buildings have collapsed, bridges and tunnels have been destroyed, and roads rendered impassable due to landslides.

The National Fire Agency's most recent report on Thursday morning stated that there were 9 fatalities, 1,038 individuals who sustained injuries, with an additional 52 individuals listed as missing and unreachable.

Rescue operations are underway, with teams working diligently to locate and extract any survivors amidst the wreckage.

Countdown to the historic launch of the first woman of Vietnamese origin to fly into space 🚀 

Amanda Nguyen, a 32-year-old civil rights activist, is poised to make history as the first Vietnamese woman to venture into space. Her journey, fueled by resilience and determination, has been marked by significant achievements. 

Amanda’s upcoming flight aboard the Blue Origin New Shepard rocket represents a milestone for Vietnamese women worldwide. 

Space for Humanity, a social impact non-profit organization, sponsors exceptional leaders in the world’s first Citizen Astronaut Program. These leaders will have the chance to experience the Overview Effect—a profound shift in perspective—while in space, and upon return, they work to improve our planet.

In Amanda’s own words: “Together, we are committed to reshaping our perception of the universe, humanity, and our collective future. I eagerly anticipate my upcoming space journey and continue my quest for a brighter and better tomorrow.”

She is also renowned for her advocacy work. Notably, she played an important role in proposing and drafting the Sexual Assault Survivors’ Rights Act, which received unanimous approval from the U.S. Congress.

Mumbai’s major billionaire glow-up 💫

Mumbai, often referred to as the "city that never sleeps", now finds itself busy with the task of counting billionaires. The cumulative wealth of Indian billionaires has crossed an overwhelming US$1 trillion, outpacing China’s average wealth per billionaire. This financial prowess is rooted in India’s robust economic performance, attracting global investors. Moreover, Indian startups, particularly in telecom, energy, pharma, and AI sectors, have flourished, contributing to this wealth surge.

The Indian government's commitment to supporting startups through favorable policies and incentives has induced the growth of the startup ecosystem. Initiatives like Startup India serve as invaluable guidance in the country’s entrepreneurial boom.
