Silent Pages, Loud Community: The Rise of No-Pressure Book Clubs 📕

Book lovers, attention! The Silent Book Club concept is gaining popularity around the world as people are seeking leisurely hobbies without pressure. In Jakarta (Indonesia), hundreds gather monthly in a park to read books of their own choosing—ranging from romance, thrillers, and religious texts to business or psychology books.

There is no required reading, no group discussion—just quiet time with a book you love. Participants just need to bring their favorite books, whether physical copies, a Kindle, or audiobooks. This trend, originating in the US, creates a comfortable, judgment-free space where readers can connect through silence and a shared love for books.
